It was a challenge to control the erosion on the steep slopes of my property; the terraces have provided a beautiful solution to the problem. They stop the rushing water resulting from summer thunderstorms.

	Tulip and Narcissus bulbs add much-needed color to the shade garden.		Tulips with Hellebore foetidus.
	Hosta 'David and Laura' has "cupped" leaves that will hold water and will grow 3-feet across.
