A wonderful groundcover is Veronica 'Georgia Blue'
which blooms in March. |
Louisiana Iris 'Black Gamecock' is so deep a purple that it is truly almost black. |
Iris versicolor (Blue Flag Iris) grows in standing water as well as in normal garden soil. |
Another purple bloom that is almost black...Zantedeschia 'Schwarzwalder' (Calla Lily), purchased from Brent and Becky's Bulbs. |
Annuals all...blue Scaevola, Wave petunias and a chartreuse-colored Alternanthera thrived in the heat and drought of the Summer 2007. |
Clematis 'Roguchi' has a small bell-shaped flower that is a beautiful deep blue. It blooms for weeks and weeks in summer. |
