A beautiful transition garden from sun to shade, with the main attraction Cornus kousa ‘Gold Star.’

Looking up from the lower terrace in mid-April. A variety of leaf shapes makes the garden more interesting.
Cornus kousa 'Goldstar' is a slow-growing superior Asian dogwood. The yellow highlights in the leaves brighten up the shade garden. Native Lonicera x heckrotii 'Goldflame' does not grow out of bounds, like the Asian variety does.
