At the edge of the Herb Bed, Lilium formosanum (Formosa Lily) has fragrant, Easter-lily-like blossoms in August and September. |
Culinary sage requires very well-drained soil. The variety 'Berggarten' has wide handsome gray leaves and deep blue flowers. |
A beautiful combination of annuals... The pink form of Castor Bean and Purple Fountain Grass. |
The stems of Cardoon can be peeled and eaten. The flowerhead resembles an artichoke. Monarda x 'Marshall's Delight' blooms in the background. |
